Ryôtarô Dôjima shifted impatiently where he stood with his daughter, Nanako, waiting for his nephew’s train to come in. He honestly wasn't sure what to expect- he hadn't seen the kid in at least ten, twelve years? Hell, his clearest memory of the boy was of him in diapers, what had Yumiko been thinking? He sighed, running his hand through his hair again. She hadn't been thinking about the kid, that was damn sure. She'd initially booked the kid – no, Yû, that was his name – a ticket for the day before school started. He'd managed to talk his sister into making it a week before school instead, saying that he and Nanako needed the time to adjust to having Yû there. Primal Groudon's Desolate Land is sublimating the waters around the city so fast that it's not even getting to the water vapor stage. Combeferre is the first to notice, but only because he is so well-versed in Enjolras’s moods. He sees the softness that edges into Enjolras’s whole being when he is left relatively unobserved with Grantaire. He sees that while they still argue, there is almost a playfulness to it, and everyone breathes a sigh of relief over that one. Their arguments had been getting more bitter and unhappy and it had hung like a pall over their gatherings. Combeferre had tendered Enjolras a delicately phrased word of warning, but also given his tacit approval. It had been rather amusing to watch Enjolras gradually unravel that mess of language, until he’d realized truly what Combeferre had meant. The shade of red the blond had turned had been spectacular, and had had Joly asking worriedly if Enjolras had contracted a fever.
