Summary: Morgott fights a strange Tarnished. What does it mean, to bring comfort to a woman he's killed over and over again?

Morgott watched as the Tarnished woman fell to her knees and then crumpled to one side, breath a rattling gasp, and felt nothing. She would not rise again, not for this battle. She had lost too much blood, a deep gash on her side spilling crimson down her armor and her flask of tears was empty. He readied a knife of golden light and stepped forward, intending to end her suffering swiftly, though she had prolonged it herself. This was the third time he had fought this particular woman. She was skilled and wasted no breath on hurled insults, or on informing him of the blasphemy of his existence, sneering or jeering.
